When To Wear The Skinny Tie.

Skinny ties is for those wanting a fashion forward alternative to the wider traditional tie. Any tie of less than 3 inches wide can be considered a skinny tie.

The slimmer relative of the traditional tie should be worn in less formar situations. It doesn't mean it won't look good with a suit. For instance, in my school boy outfit, adding a traditional tie would have added a little too much formality. Instead, I wore a skinny tie for the ultimate balance of classic and trendy.

Try wearing slim-fit/narrow clothes with your skinny tie. This can make your outfit and tie work together to make you look slimmer and taller.

I wore my skinny tie with a spread collar shirt for a more open casual look.
