In the heart of Miami: South Beach
Winter is my favorite season of the year in South Florida because the weather is nothing but perfect. Days are warm with minimal humidity; still very sunny without getting too hot. We even get some colder days when you get to wear a few layers. This is why I decided to take some vacations within the Miami area to really enjoy the paradise-like weather before the craziness of Art Basel takes over the city.
The chosen location for my staycations was Washington Park Hotel in South Beach which I highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the real Miami Beach from its heart; South Beach. The area that also holds my heart because it's where I spent my teenager years that shaped who I am today.
The name of the WPH comes from the street it's on: Washington Avenue which is one of South Beach busiest streets, full of restaurants, night clubs and Art Deco buildings. I also must mention the picture-perfect decorations of the hotel inspired by the vivid local scene. You're guaranteed amazing photos with all the Miami flavor when you stay at Washington Park Hotel!
